I was walking in the field near Tinkisso River. I came across a chameleon. It was peaceful and mind it own business. It was very grateful to see the chameleon in the field. The way it moves through the grass. So careful and seems like nowhere to go, just taking a stroll.
I had many chameleons as a pet in my childhood. They normally stayed for a few days and left. Maybe it was the lack of flies and insects in the house.
On that moment I appreciate the back flashes of my childhood and thought how cruel it was of me to take a wild living thing out of its habitat for a pet. Just to think how far it must walk at that slow past to get back home where it belongs.
